Casey's face peeked into the basement of the Big House, where Sam and Wyatt were. "Um... guys? Erm... about this whole quest thing? Mr. D wants us to have a meeting session with everybody in the living room. Arrow, Mira, and Misty are already there. So... if you could come too, I would rather for us not to all turn into dolphins." Casey didn't sound worried, though - indeed, her gold eyes were twinkling with amusement as the fourteen-year-old mortal girl drew out of the door and closed it again.

" Mortals," Wyatt said with a derisive laugh. "I find it amusing that you think our deer camp directer would be capable of turning me into a dolphin. Do you know how upset my father would be if he found out I was sent to my uncle instead of him?!" Wyatt, now amused, did not move from where she was at; lounging on a rather dusty armchair, which was perched, conveniently, in the darkest part of the basement. Really, Wyatt was hardly visible. One could go as far to say that she was really a part of the shadow herself. The only thing countering this statement, however, was the bright floral dress she had on underneath her black leather jacket. ( outfit!) "If Mr. D wanted me that badly, he'd have another demi-god summon me. And," She continued, looking contemptuously at Casey. "You're obviously not one. So thus I think I'll stay put." Looking down at her nails, she sighed slightly, pulling out a silver polish from a hidden pocket and, unscrewing the lid, began to paint her nails. (Sorry if Wyatt seems a little different from past roleplays, I'm changing her up a bit ;D)

(OMG THAT'S ADORABLE) Casey looked at Wyatt quite contemptuously. "Maybe as a daughter of Athena, I would suit you better?" She asked, dangerously calm. "I've been alive for thousands of years, Wyatt Mae. You might want to think before you speak." The Huntress of Artemis tilted her heasd slightly, a smirk pulling at her lips. She had heard of Wyatt from Arrow, and had drawn that it was fun to make Wyatt mad. Casey's eyes as an Oracle could easily make out Wyatt's figure, and she smiled down at Wyatt. "I must say, Mr. D does seem anxious to see you. It would be a pity if you refused him, wouldn't it? Especially if this meeting concerns info about the quest you're on - with me, may I add - and you were to miss it? If one of your campers, Arrow, knew more about this quest than you did? That would certainly be embarrasing, wouldn't it? But you don't care, of course - you only care about yourself. Well, in my years, I've certainly seen it. And I daresay that you aren't as high up as you think you are. Indeed, if you don't come to this meeting, your position as Head of Cabin may be... well, as modern people say it, 'hanging on a string'. And you care enough about your seat of power, don't you?" Casey gave a little chuckle. "I shall inform Mr. D of your reply. But as the Oracle of Delphi, a Huntress, and more than meets the eye, you may find me a formidable opponent." Casey smirked before turning her back on Wyatt, looking around the basement.

"Ha! Who really cares about Athena? I mean honestly! The only person I even slightly admire who is a child of Athena is Annabeth. I'm sure you two are aquatinted?" Wyatt asked, a dangerous glitter in her pale blue eyes. She refrained from saying anything else, however, wisely coming to the conclusion that this Huntress had 'learned' from Arrow. "You may be the Oracle, but that does not mean I owe you any respect. Neither does the fact that you're a Huntress. It's plain and simple. You have to earn respect. You can't expect it to be given blindly to you just because your special. Besides," Wyatt continued, twirling a lock of pale golden hair around a singular finger (as she had since been done painting them). "I was only playing." With a childish wink, Wyatt let the shadows engulf her, though not before she allowed one last comment to find its way to Casey. "Learn to take a joke, Casey [insert last name here]."
Reappearing in what little shadows were in the living room, Wyatt found herself facing Mr. D, standing in a corner close to where Arrow, Mira, and Misty were. "So," Wyatt said, folding her arms over her chest. "I'm here." The girl continued with a bored look down at her nails. "Ah, dang it! I've chipped one!" Disregarding the group in front of her completely, she drew out her nail polish once more, quickly and efficiently fixing the chipped nail polish. "So, I was informed by a... Little birdie, that we're receiving information on out quest?" Wyatt murmured with a blink, casting Mr. D a small glance, before returning her gaze back down to her nails. "There!" She said with a smile, replacing the nail polish in her pocket. In all respects, Wyatt looked like she wasn't paying the God any attention at all, but of course she was. Anyone who knew Wyatt enough (which was actually pretty few; Chiron and Mr. D were some of those few) knew that.

(Wyatt, no cussing in this thread) "Yes, we are acquainted." Casey shrugged. "And I do care about Athena. I mean, sure, she is big-headed - heck, which god isn't? Hades most definetely is - and yes, I am quite close to Annabeth. In fact, her friend Thalia? I was very close with her... have you every heard of Phoebe Warren? Yep. I'm not looking for respect, Wyatt. Please..." Casey laughed. "But I think I've done enough to earn some respect. And as for taking a joke..." Her eyes started to glow as Wyatt disappeared. "Learn to take a joke? I'll show you a joke." Casey pressed her left wrist and disapeared.
Mr. D rolled his eyes and sighed. "Oh, yes. Did Phoebe tell you that we were meeting? Good for her. So, first... Phoebe, my dear, give us our first mini-prophecy?" Casey became visible right behind Mr. D, sighing. "Dionysus, it's Casey now. Remember?" Mr. D rolled his eyes. "Casey, Phoebe... all the same to me." Casey sighed. Closing her eyes, she recited clearly,
"Due west you will find A traveling stone, who may not be kind Seek his advice, for he is wise But do not be fooled by her devise."
Afterwards, she turned to Wyatt with glittering eyes. "Since you're so smart, I know you can figure this out, Wyatt. Can't you? We're all depending on you."

Sam rolled his eyes at the girl Wyatt's behavior. Being the only boy on the quest was hard enough, but, being a child of Artemis made him even more of an outcast not only in the group, but out of all demigods. He and Luna would be outcasts for the rest of their lives. Artemis wasn't supposed to heaven have children, much less two from the same father. And they weren't even twins! "If you would be quiet," he said, glaring at Wyatt. "Then Dionysus could tell us the information that is important to the quest."
Misty stayed quiet in the corner on the couch she had been sitting on before the other quest members had arrived. She was fiddling with a small stick with swirly engravings carved into it. She wasn't one to get into conversations that weren't directed at her and she wasn't about to change that. She quietly listened to Wyatt as she bragged and a part of Misty wanted to punch her in the face just to make her stop talking, but only a very small part. Instead, she made observations about her teammates based on their actions and what they said. Sam looked pretty lonely and left out, while Wyatt obviously wanted to be the leader and Casey wanted to get everybody under control and leave as quickly as possible. Misty didn't even know why she had been chosen as the Poseidon kid to go on this quest. Many of her half siblings were much more experienced and qualified to go on a quest that would determine the fate of the world. She was just a shy 15 year old from California, the only thing special about her was that she was a child of one of the Big Three....and maybe her ice powers. One of her half siblings had told her that for a Poseidon kid, having powers to control ice, was a rare thing. She had power over water too, but that was common. So why had she been picked? This was a question that she kept thinking about over and over as the other quest members talked.

(Aha, sorry boo <3) "Hm, I don't think I was talking to you, Child of the Huntress." Wyatt said, returning the glare, though hers, if it were possible, was even more frightening. Looking up as Casey spoke, a venomous smile spread on her lips. "Why of course, great Casey." Wyatt said, dipping into a mock bow. "The prophecy obviously wants us to go west. It says it clearly in the first line. A traveling stone, well that could mean anything really. A literal traveling stone, or just a tough guy who happens to travel. He's obviously wise, as the prophecy says, so we need to talk to him and get his advice. Though, some other person is going to come into play, and we need to stay vigilant, for we cannot allow for her to fool us, as the prophecy says not to be fooled by her devise." Still leaning against the far wall, she offered Casey a cheeky smile. "Shall I go into more... What's the word? Ah, yes. 'Detail', mi'lady?" She asked, her pale blue eyes narrowing in amusement.

Casey rolled her eyes. "You truly are smart, oh great One." Casey said, taking a mocking bow. "But please, dearest, tell us more. For your interpretation has startled even the gods themselves, and Olympus has shaken with fear at your needy..." She was going to continue, but all of a sudden the building trembled and Hermes appeared, ready to send the demigods on their quest.

"Little Dove," Wyatt said, her dark smile widening at the pet name. "I would love to elaborate more on this topic, though I'm turely torn on where to start! After all, there's just so much to this prophecy! I-" The girl was about to continue, however, she was interrupted by the appearance of the God Hermes. ________________ "My my!" Hermes said exuberantly, looking over at Wyatt. "That was a beautiful interpretation, if I do say so myself. However, there are a few things I'd like to point out-" The sky rumbled, and Hermes chuckled nervously. "Right. I can't. Well, sorry little Demigods! Anyways, let's get you going on your way, yes? Ah, Dionysus? Would you prefer me to take them outside for this part?" Really, Hermes was just being formal, as he was planning on taking them outside anyways, but, Dionysus was the Camp Director after all.

"Whatever." Dionysus rolled his eyes. "I only have thirty nine years of hell left. Just don't kill them, or Father will be mad." He glanced apprehensively at the sky, then popped a Diet Coke cup.
~~
"Lord Hermes!" Casey grinned at the god and extended her hand for him to shake. "Phoebe Warren... Remember me, that little favor you had me do in Portugal a few thousand years ago? Yeah.. I know I look a bit different. But, you know, back from the dead and all. One can't expect me to be in tip-top shaspe."

Sam watched in disappointment as Casey went from being "Ms. Bossypants" to being "God's favorite quester suck-up". Why had these kids been picked to go on the quest? There was no way they could all work together, and no way Casey was letting anyone else be in charge. His sister had said something about feeling under her control, literally. Maybe he could find out why and save his sister. "Casey, stop bragging about yourself to Hermes and let him talk. The sooner we get going, the better chance we have of saving the world."

"Sorry." Casey rolled her eyes and laughed, not sounding sorry at all. "Besides, the world's out of our hands already. It's not really saving the world anymore... It's saving ourselves from the world."
