"Meh. We're not trying to winm... We beat your butts last week." Arrow melted back into her own shadow, re appearing silently behind Misty. She grabbed the flag and wrestled with Misty for it.

Misty growled and jabbed the end of her bo staff into the girl's stomach and ran, the flag fluttering in her hand. She panted and dove into a small lake, knowing that if the girl followed her, Misty would be at the advantage, in her home turf.

Arrow fell on the ground, immediately fading into a shadow. Her breath had been knocked out of her, and the world was dizzy for a second. Arrow drew her knife and trudged towards the river, knowing that even though Misty was at an advantage, so was Arrow.

Misty shook with fear in the water. She had found a hiding spot behind some rocks, her gray shirt and black hair helping her camouflage a little. Please don't find me, please don't find me. She thought to herself as she fiddled with her horse necklace.

Arrow pokes Misty's ankle before fading back into Misty's shadow. Arrow was strong in water for two reasons... One, because it was close to the Underworld, and two... The water held some of the best shadows ever.

Misty shuddered and whimpered, her eyes flickering around trying to look for Arrow. She had an idea to keep her safe, but she didn't know if it would succeed. If she failed, it could affect the whole river and they wouldn't be able to escape for a long time. She took a deep breath and blew cold air out of her mouth into her hands. Ice crystals formed and she made it bigger and bigger until it was the size of a football. She slammed it down to the ground at her feet and curled up. The ice surrounded her, but she had an air pocket inside for her to breath. She had discovered she could do this last winter, when she accidentally froze herself like this in her cabin. She rubbed her arm against the ice and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw bubbles. She hadn't froze the whole lake, but Arrow was still out there. She probably had enough air to last her an hour, maybe, but the flag was in here with her. As long as she was in here, they couldn't win the game, and the other team might win. But Misty was too scared to care. She just wanted Arrow to go away and leave her alone.

Arrow peered inside the ice thing. "Interesting." She approved. "Cowardly, but interesting." Arrow heard faint shouting above her, but as long as she went back into the shadows every so often to breathe, she could stay underwater as long as she desired. "Excuse me while I go win the game." Aarow floated up to the surface and traced her steps back to the opposing team's camp.

Misty heated up the water around her ice room and it melted back into lake water. Misty swam to the shore and pulled herself out. She followed the muddy footprints that Arrow had left behind, hoping that she would be fast enough to catch up with the Hades girl, or maybe even get ahead of her.

Arrow melted into the shadows in order to travel faster. She grabbed the flag from a surprised guard and faded back into the shadows. The perks of being a Hades kid.

Misty saw her team's camp and cheered inside. She didn't want to make any noise in case any kids from the other team were still around. She touched her base camp border and her team blew their horn. She was hugged and lifted into the air by her teammates. She looked out towards the other camp and smiled. You beat our butts, Arrow? I think not.

Seconds later, the other camp blew their horn. As the two teams came together, Chieon announced the winer. Arrow said right behind Misty "Good job."

Misty saw her cabinmates walking away. "It was fun, Arrow. Can't wait to team up with you next time!" she said, waving goodbye as she ran to catch up with her siblings.
