Capture the Flag

[Arrow]

Arrow stared at the Huntress racing by... with their flag! But just as she made it back to her own base camp and blew the horn, they heard an answer from the other camp.

[Luna [Misty]]

Luna punched a tree as she landed at her team's camp because even though her team had sounded their horn, the other team had sounded theirs a few seconds earlier. I almost had it. she thought to herself. If I had just ran a little faster....

[Arrow]

Chiron clip-clopp, clip-clopped up to the Pavilion, watching the teams slowly make their way up to the Pavilion, as they always did after a game. He cleared his throat. "It was a very close call." He said. "I think it would be fair to announce a tie, don't you?" He looked at Mr. D, who was too busy ordering the satyrs around to listen or care about what Chiron said. Mr. D noded absently, and Chiron sighed. "Very well... a tie!"

[Luna [Misty]]

Luna cheered along with the rest of the camp. A tie was better than a win or lose for either side.

[Arrow]

Arrow made her way over to Luna. "Hey, great job! I saw you with the flag; you're a really fast runner."

[Luna [Misty]]

Luna smiled bashfully and rubbed her arm, "Thanks....you too." She felt kind of awkward congratulating the other team after they had captured her, but hey, it was only a game. It wasn't like they meant any of what they said or did.....right?

[Arrow]

"Sorry about the whole kidnapping thing, I got kidnapped too. But hey, you're not a child of Hades for nothing." Arrow grinned at the thought of what she accomplished. "But.. looking forward to next week, right? It's supposed to be Hades, Hecate, and the Huntresses." The girl may have only been thirteen, but she was smart.

[Luna [Misty]]

Luna smiled and nodded, but then frowned. "We....might not be here next week. Artemis is sending us on a classified mission and we don't know how long we're going to be gone, but we'll do everything in our power to make it back in time for next week's game." She looked around at the huntresses, who all looked exhausted. "We should probably get back to our cabin. We're leaving first thing in the morning. and I want my crew to be well rested for the long trip tomorrow. See you later Arrow!" She called to the huntresses and they all headed off to the Artemis cabin.

[Arrow]

This is officially the end of this week's Capture the Flag! All comments made here before Friday, 14th, 2015, will be deleted. Remember, it will be starting at 6:00 PM CST (5:00 PM EST... I know, I know, it changed, but it seems to be better with everyone's schedule) and will progress throughout the weekend (if it doesn't end Friday night) and hopefully end on Saturday and maybe Sunday, depending on the people participating.

Misty hid behind a tree as some Hades kids ran past her. She was panting heavily but was determined not to give away her location. She fiddled with the flag in her hands then tied it to her arm as she left the tree and ran back towards her camp. Poseidon cabin had to win Capture the Flag, at least once. They never won. Sure, they had respect from being the children of one of The Big Three, but most of Misty's siblings let the fame go to their heads. She wanted some hard earned fame, not pre-deserved fame and glory.

[Arrow]

(Um... The big three don't exist anymore, remember? Percy made that part of his deal) Arrow stepped out of a tree's shadow landing right in front of Misty. "Going somewhere?" She smirked. "I don't think so."

[Luna [Misty]]

(oh, i forgot, i haven't read the books for a for a while) Misty gasped and pulled out her bo staff. "We're winning this round. How good do you think you really are?"
